John Gray, Guitarist Singer Songwriter

Based in McMinnville Oregon in the Pacific Northwest, I have been a guitar player, folk, country and acoustic blues singer  and songwriter for many  years.  My music is shaped by experience, environment, relationship, and beauty. I am muliti-instrumental, playing old-time banjo, mandolin, dobro and weissenborn guitar.  I am far more interested in sharing beautiful, thoughtful  music with a message than instrumental virtuosity.  My songs tell stories that evoke heartfelt expression, I hope in uplifting ways. Music is magic, touching people  in ways that nothing else can.
